Triumphant, brilliant works of Art History in the making. Wang elevates his subjects with signature mastery and deep sensitivity to the human spirit.

Classically trained at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts and Central Academy of Fine Arts, his early work was in the tradition of Communist Realism, which was the only acceptable avenue afforded him in his early career. Wang immigrated to the United States shortly after the Tiananmen Square Massacre. He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. His work is in the China National Gallery, the private collection of the Japanese Royal Family and the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C.

Wang won "Grand Prize" in the Portrait Society of America Competition. His was voted "Best Portfolio" in American Society of Portrait Artists, MOMA, NY.
